Both drive shafts had to be shortened to allow for the longer pinion of the D60s. While I was at it, I ground down the bump stops on the CV joint before taking to the drive shaft shop.
Here is the rear drive shaft hanging while waiting for a Detroit 7290 pinion yoke. It also had both ujoints replaced.
Here is the front drive shaft after getting back from the shop. It was shortened and all three ujoints replaced.
